Well, after what I declared to be the Year of Mark (2013), this new set of 365 days just couldn’t compare!  In fact, this will likely be my shortest year-end reflection I’ve ever had, just because this year wasn’t particularly exciting.  Oh, I enjoyed plenty of things and had my fair share of ups and downs, but it wasn’t necessarily a monumental year.

This  year was a really fantastic year for movie-going, though, I tell ya: Godzilla, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Interstellar… some brilliant stuff.  I also finally saw Frozen, and cried and enjoyed welcoming those songs into my life, too.

I contemplated my views on romantic relationships, considered whether or not I even wanted one, and then returned back to square one on that front 😉 .  School went fine, but I’m still not done.  I had to make some big new purchases (computer/car), altered my career goal a little, but all-in-all, I don’t have much to say about this past year.  My life is just coasting along fine, so I don’t really have any great upheavals or victories to write about.  It was just.. well, it was a fine and dandy year.  I graduate this coming spring, and hopefully I’ll be on my way into a teaching career in some form by the time 2015 ends.. but for now, I’m just continuing to go with the flow that was 2014.
