An Unfortunate Time To Be Sick

Monday afternoon, before a co-worker was able to come in early and relieve me, I was huddled in the back room shivering with a fever.  That night, my temperature became especially bad, but it did break, and I’ve just been on a slow recovery since.  Right now, I look as healthy and lively as Christian Bale in The Machinist and am moving around on my feet as fluidly as a Nine Inch Nails video; I’m improving, but I’m hardly healthy.  I wanted to write something, though, because I’ve sadly had to miss Out of the Box this week, and I’m in no state to put together what I wanted to for my year one fitness progress report which should’ve gone up yesterday.  Even worse, today is the last day of my online class and I’m going to have to try and make it through a last assignment and the final, my next semester starts next week and I still have to register the school I’m interning with (but I did nail one down, and it’ll be a great opportunity), and I had a number of personal plans and fun random opportunities I’ve had to turn down because of my near-deathness.

Hopefully, we shall return to our regularly scheduled programming next week, but until then.. here’s to hoping you don’t catch what I did 🙂
