Year Two

I’m cheating, here… this post is actually being written on November 8, an entire week after my 2 year site anniversary, but for the sake of clean archives, I’ve made the adjustment.  Let’s just say I haven’t been in much of a celebratory blog-writing mood, lately, and I missed the date.

So, with that confession out of the way, here we are at another year running.  Last year I professed new content ideas that were brewing, yet none of that have really come about.  As one can tell over the course of my past couple of entries, I’m trying hard to get a handle on these emotional issues that keep me from a higher level of creative production.  Hopefully by year 3 this may have changed.  We’ll see :).

As for the site, content aside, there haven’t been many changes.  I do continue to gain more visitors, slowly but surely.  I even have a few regulars out there that I don’t even know who they are – one of which is based in L.A..  I’m also just 2 states shy of being visited by someone from every state in this country.  The blog continues to bring in random searches, but I’ve garnered a big boost in general traffic now that I feed my RSS over to Facebook.  Of course, most folks just comment there, but you take what you can get ;).  Also, we reached a single day visitor peak this year of 50 in September on the 24th.  It doesn’t coincide with any blog entry, and I still have no clue why so many people visited that day.  Most of the hits were from someone who manually typed in my site address, so somehow came to the attention of many people who day, and almost half were from Germany.

Don’t ask me.

As always, I appreciate anyone who swings by – makes a fella happy to see his time and energy is getting noticed, and hopefully enjoyed :).  If the Let’s Make Movies project goes smoothly, by this time next year I may have finally added 1-3 new live-action movies to this site.  Hopefully I can give you even more than that ;).
